The purpose of this one-day workshop is to Evaluate Good Distribution Practices
(Directives, 92/25/EEC, 2001/83/EU, 2004/27/EC), EU Guidelines on Good Distribution of
Medicinal Products for Human Use 94/C/03 and IMB Guidelines 2004 together with the new Guide -March 2006, and to discuss these from the point of view of both licence holders and the authorities.
In addition, this course offers a practical explanation of the guideline for those who are active in the field of setting up and implementing GDP, as well as the management of quality systems and the supply chain for pharmaceutical products.
The seminar is highly interactive aimed at individuals who wishes to increase their knowledge and understanding of the actual requirements of GDP & GTDP.
Seminar Objectives:
The objectives of the course are that delegates will:
Understand the regulatory requirements and constraints facing manufacturers, distributors/wholesalers and transport/logistics companies in the management of the full supply chain from sourcing to final distribution.
Become familiar with the Irish Medicines Board (IMB) Guidelines on GDP and relevant sections of the ‘Orange Guide',
Develop process and identify the controls necessary to ensure compliance with GDP regulations and guidelines The course consists of formal content presentation interspersed with content quiz sessions, the style involves intensive audience participation. The course may be modified to run in house in client companies.
